As times change and the world becomes more electronic and more earth friendly, we recognize the need to adapt as well. Over the past year, we have been promoting the use of the patient portal and will continue to encourage you to use it for sending us messages, requesting prescription refills, and checking your test results. You can find the link to the Healow Portal on our website. Please call our office to confirm we have your correct email address on file.
Moving forward, we will no longer be sending paper statements. We encourage you to check your email regularly and ensure that we have the most up-to-date email address for you. Your bills will be sent via email for the first two months, followed by a text message reminder. If the balance remains unpaid, a fourth attempt will result in a phone call from our billing department. For balances under $50, you will receive weekly text message reminders. If your account remains unpaid for more than 30 days, you will receive a call from our billing department. After four attempts to collect payment, all unpaid balances will be sent to our outside collection agency. You can print your statement from the Healow app or the patient portal. Please remember, we will no longer send paper statements.
Throughout the year, we will continue to send you emails. This is our primary method of communication with our patient community. However, we noticed that only 80% of our emails were opened in 2024. Our messages may sometimes end up in your SPAM folder or promotions tab, so please check those folders and open our emails.
We understand that not all of our communications may be of interest to you. If you receive an email that doesn't pertain to you, feel free to ignore it. Unfortunately, we cannot selectively choose topics to send to individual patients. You do have the option to completely opt out of our emails, but please note that doing so may result in missing important information we wish to share with you.
